In our last conversation, at the kitchen table in Englewood, Dr. Masland expressed amusement at the then current doings of the local Episcopal bishop, who publicly rejected the core teachings of his church. Note: A memorial service for Richard L. Masland will be held on January 17 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Englewood, New Jersey.
