Gender Bias at the DNC
Sure, Democrats say they welcome all, but at an EMILY'S List breakfast, it's no boys allowed.

After informing her that men invented breakfast, just like most things, I smugly told her that I was on her list, she might want to check. She did. I had been scrubbed off. Rumors of my manhood had clearly preceded me. I thought about making a scene, perhaps chaining myself to the continental breakfast bar. But where would that get us? Yes, EMILY's List likes to say "Win Today, Build for tomorrow." But sometimes, change is more incremental.
Fine, I told Oliver defiantly. Maybe I'd go off and have a men-only breakfast--all bacon, no chick food. She tucked her card into my pocket, and told me I was welcome to come back to their lunch. The lunch theme was slightly different. No more women making coffee-talk. It was being billed as "Women's Voices say ENOUGH!"
Maybe it's time for men to say the same.
