We all know by now that President-elect Obama improved his performance among a host of voter subgroups compared to John Kerry four years ago. Political Scientist Charles Franklin arrays the change in this interesting chart that displays how well Obama did and how far McCain slipped among key subgroups. visualizingobamawin.jpg Obama's victory was indeed broad. As the chart reveals, some of the largest gains were among socio-economic bookends, including those who earn over $200K and among those with less than a high school education. The surge among blacks, Latinos, first-time voters and younger Americans age 18-29 is also impressive. HT: Pollster.com
