Buildings in the same complex as Vice President Joe Biden's official residence in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Naval Observatory, will be closing doors to tour groups due to the mandatory budget cuts of sequestration.
Under a heading titled "Current Tour Status," the website of the Naval Observatory reads, "
Public tours of the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington, DC, are available, but on a limited basis. They may be canceled at any time with little notice. Please read the tour policy and admission procedure below before you request tour passes."
Earlier today, the White House announced that it will be cutting public tours due to sequestration.
