Yesterday, when the president was asked whether Americans are better off now than they were four years ago, he responded:
Speaker of the House John Boehner was asked today whether he agrees with the president's assessment. "Are you kidding me?" Boehner exclaimed. "Why don't you go ask the 14 million Americans who are out of work, whether they're better of today than they were four years ago."
Interestingly, Boehner's answer is reminiscent of the answer Obama provided a month ago.
