Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal is continuing his public campaign against the Obama adminstration and its lawsuit halting the state's public school voucher program. In a new ad airing on TV in Louisiana, Jindal criticizes the Department of Justice's suit, saying the federal government "wants to run our schools."
"The know-it-alls in Washington think they know better than Louisiana parents," Jindal says in the 30-second spot. "Kind of like with Obamacare when they tried to put the IRS in charge of our health care." Watch the ad below:
The ad was paid for by Jindal's campaign arm. In Louisiana, Jindal's poll numbers have dropped over the past year or so, with a recent PPP poll showing just 28 percent approval and 59 percent disapproval at his job.
The two-term governor is considered a potential candidate for president in 2016.
