The Hill's Elise Viebeck writes:

Anxious Democrats fear a botched implementation of ObamaCare could dash their hopes of controlling the House and Senate for President Obama’s last two years in office.

Yes. There has been a lot of this sort of thing reported recently. And you do feel their pain. But one looks, in vain, for some expression of concern for the millions of ordinary consumers who will pay for a "botched implementation" – a nice euphemist for dropped coverage, increased premiums, etc. – of the Affordable Care Act.

Instead, we get politics as, for instance, when:

... most Democrats still tout the law as a landmark victory for patients and note its popularity among Hispanics, the fastest growing demographic in the nation.

Still hoping, then, that bad medicine will turn out to be good politics.
