A new Bloomberg poll shows Rick Perry with a four-point lead over Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination for president.
The national survey, conducted September 9-12, shows 26 percent support for Perry among those polled, with 22 percent choosing Romney. The remaining GOP candidates each poll under 10 percent, indicating further that the primary is already whittling down to a two-man race between the current Texas governor and the former Massachusetts governor. Notably, the poll was taken between last week's NBC/Politico debate at the Reagan Library and this week's CNN/Tea Party Express debate in Tampa.
