How convenient! How coincidental! Time magazine put its latest issue to bed on Wednesday evening—and 36 hours later the Obama administration announced that it would be using "prosecutorial discretion" not to deport young illegal immigrants who "do not present a risk to national security or public safety."

Time magazine's cover this week? On immigration, a story by Jose Antonio Vargas, extremely sympathetic to the young illegal immigrants in question, titled, "We Are Americans: Just Not Legally. We're Some of the nearly 12 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. Why we're done hiding."

No way Time magazine had a heads up! No way the Obama administration might have tipped off the former employer of Obama press secretary Jay Carney!

Oh no, must just be coincidence.

Already, Time's updated its story to say, "Shortly after Jose Antonio Vargas' story on the issue of the undocumented was published in TIME, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced that it would no longer deport young undocumented residents who qualify for the DREAM act. Those eligible will receive work permits."

Though it would be illegal for the Obama campaign to coordinate with Time magazine if it were actually a super PAC, it is perfectly legal since Time isn't a super PAC, even if it at times acts as one.
