A new ad campaign from Concerned Veterans for America asks Democratic senators to hold the Department of Veterans Affairs accountable. "President Obama won't hold the VA accountable," says the voiceover in one version of the ad, focusing on Arkansas's Mark Pryor. "Senator Mark Pryor can, but he's done nothing, putting his loyalty to his party and the president ahead of America's veterans."

The ads urge Pryor and other Democratic senators (Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Kay Hagan of North Carolina, Mark Warner of Virginia, Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, and Harry Reid of Nevada) to support the VA Management Accountability Act introduced by Republican Marco Rubio. The bill is co-sponsored by 24 other Republicans and 1 Democrat, Bill Nelson of Florida. The House version of the bill has bipartisan support.
