The Associated Press reports that the "moderate candidate wins" the Iranian presidential election. The so-called moderate is Hasan Rowhani.
But it might be hard to look at his professional resume and think of him as a conventional moderate and reformer. Rowhani has a degree in judicial law from the University of Tehran (and two higher degrees from Glasgow Caledonian University).
