Republican Senate candidate Tom Cotton has a four-point lead over incumbent Democrat Mark Pryor in a new poll of the Arkansas race. According to the new Impact Management Group poll, 46 percent of likely Arkansas voters said they would support Cotton, the first-term congressman from Dardanelle, and 42 percent said they'd vote for Pryor.

The poll is a small bump for Cotton, who in an October poll by the same outfit  registered 43 percent support to Pryor's 41 percent support. As the City Wire points out, the poll also found Cotton leading Pryor in all four of Arkansas's congressional districts.

Recent polls have shown a close race in Arkansas, with Cotton leading by as many as five points earlier this month. Pryor is considered one of the most vulnerable Democrats of 2014, and he holds a seat that tops the list of Republican targets in their effort to take control of the Senate.
