ABC cancels two soaps -- All My Children and One Life to Live -- to make room for two more lifestyle shows: The Chew, which sounds like a The Soup for the food world, and The Revolution, which sounds like a less extreme version of Extreme Makeover.
Conservative philosopher Roger Scruton penned a scathing attack on celebrity architects in the Times. The London paper keeps its content behind a paywall, though, so if you want to read snippets, you'll have to look at this attack on the attack in The Guardian, subtitled: "The philosopher should heed his admired Wittgenstein and keep schtum on subjects he knows little about."
Correction of the week: The New York Times published this amendment to its recent piece on the author of the controversial film Miral: "An article on March 24 about the Palestinian journalist Rula Jebreal misstated the location of the orphanage where she grew up. It is in Jerusalem, not the West Bank of Jerusalem, which does not exist."
