Bake Sale for the Pentagon

From a left-wing bumper sticker seeking to make its point with an absurdity: "It'll be a great day when the schools have all the money they need and the Pentagon has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber."

DoD COOKIE BAKE-OFF – From a senior defense foodie: “Secretary Panetta judged a cookie bake-off at a holiday party for staff at the Pentagon. The winning entry was named ‘sequestration snacks,’ which were -- and I can't resist this -- devastatingly tasteful.  The winner was a top-notch congressional relations staffer with top-notch culinary skills.  We're all hoping at the Pentagon that Congress cooks up an equally palatable deal that serves the best interests of the country.”
