The White House just sent out this message, announcing that President Obama will "Hold Town Halls to Discuss his Vision for Bringing Down our Deficit Based on Shared Responsibility and Shared Prosperity":

ADVISORY: President Obama to Hold Town Halls to Discuss his Vision for Bringing Down our Deficit Based on Shared Responsibility and Shared Prosperity

WASHINGTON – Next week, President Obama will travel to Northern Virginia, Palo Alto, California and Reno, Nevada to speak directly to the American people about his vision for reducing our debt and bringing down our deficit, based on the values of shared responsibility and shared prosperity.

This past Wednesday, President Obama laid out his plan to put our nation on a more responsible fiscal trajectory while continuing to make the smart investments needed to create jobs and grow our economy.  We must work together, begin to live within our means and make shared sacrifices in order to rein in the deficit and meet the tough challenges of the future.

On Tuesday, the President will hold a town hall in Northern Virginia.  On Wednesday, the President will hold a town hall at Facebook Headquarters in Palo Alto, California.  On Thursday, the President will conclude his three-day town hall tour in Reno, Nevada, discussing the ways the leaders in Washington can come together and meet the expectations of the American people.

The boss, upon hearing this announcement, thinks it might be most appropriate for the White House just to go ahead and call it Obama's Orwellian Deficit Reduction Tour.
