Meanwhile, Jesse Jackson is on hand (a huge relief to all) and he feels there is a "great sense of urgency," now whereas, earlier in the week, "the two sides were talking past each other." David Brooks is also optimistic that when the dust has settled, "...then Chicago will move toward the forefront of the reform movement." One can always hope and we shall see.
