Company Receiving Preferential Treatment From Government Is Repudiated

PharmAthene tries to hide being admonished by FDA.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, PharmAthene tried to keep the matter confidential writing to the SEC:

PharmAthene, Inc. submitted an application under Rule 24b-2 requesting confidential treatment for information it excluded from the Exhibits to a Form 10-Q filed on May 13, 2010.  Based on representations by PharmAthene, Inc. that this information qualifies as confidential commercial or financial information under the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. 552(b)(4), the Division of Corporation Finance has determined not to publicly disclose it.

So, in short, a financially unstable company propped up with government dollars lies about anthrax vaccine and tries to cover it up. Hmm. One has to ask, why is the government still giving these people money?  How is this not a threat to our nation’s security?
