From the AP : “Saudi Official Cool to New Sanctions on Iran.”

Prince Saud al-Faisal told a news conference in the Saudi capital late Monday that the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear ambitions demands a more immediate solution than sanctions. He described sanctions as a long-term solution, and he said the threat is more pressing. . . .  The Saudi minister spoke at a joint appearance with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is in the Persian Gulf to shore up support for new sanctions against Iran.

That Faisal is da bomb! Of course, there's no predicting what he’ll say if/when the Israelis are backed into dismantling the Iranian weapon on their own because we've been unable to charm sanctions out of the Russians and Chinese, and we've failed to act otherwise. Will they get flyover permission from the king and princes of sand and oil? Come to that, there's no predicting what we’ll say, either, is there?
