Douglass, Lincoln, Gehrig

If you're in the mood for reading a bit this July 4th, there are many fine Independence Day speeches and orations to choose from. Here are three that I find particularly moving:
Frederick Douglass, July 5, 1852, Rochester, NY.
Abraham Lincoln, July 7, 1863, at the White House.
Lou Gehrig, July 4, 1939, at Yankee Stadium.
