On the eleventh day of August,
Bret Baier gave to me...
Tim Pawlenty sniping,
Michele Bachmann fighting,
Herman Cain joking,
Jon Huntsman hoping,
Newt Gingrich explaining,
Rick Santorum complaining,
Ron Paul declaiming,
Mitt Romney Bain-ing,
And...
Rick Perry waiting.
But...
No golden rings,
No soaring birds,
No fresh lens,
No rising above,
And no candidate who inspired me.
