Yes, we can all eat better and get more exercise. No, the government shouldn't take on these challenges by restricting our choices of food and drink. This is where the new website Women for Food Freedom comes in—a creation of the Independent Women's Forum meant to counter various "one-size-fits-all" food policies. Whether it be soda taxes, obesity stats, or the fear of BPA, the site provides sensible counterarguments to what it calls "government overreach and paternalism at its worst." As more of these nanny state issues arise, the site will be worth checking for updates.
