Former CIA director Gen. Michael Hayden recently warned of the problems in President Obama's Afghanistan strategy. “We all knew it was a surge, and a surge doesn’t last ... but drawing them out in the middle of the fighting season isn’t looking at the calendar,” Hayden said, according to the Associated Press. “As soon as we start to wobble, everybody in the neighborhood begins to misbehave. ... Troop size certainly matters, but what is real important is the commitment.” The AP reports:
