When it comes to federal lobbyists, Illinois Democratic Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias says that “he won’t take their money and he won’t vote their way.”

That might be the case, but apparently Giannoulias will ask them to flack for his campaign. From Politico:

“There are going to be a lot of people who want to demonstrate [get out the vote], whether or not they give a crap about this midterm election,” said John Michael Gonzalez, a Democratic strategist from Illinois. “I don’t know how that can help Kirk. I do know how it can help Alexi.”

That would be John Michael Gonzalez the lobbyist.

Now that’s change you can believe in.
