In the 28-minute documentary-style ad released online by Newt Gingrich's Super PAC, a number of workers who were laid off at companies taken over by Mitt Romney's firm, Bain Capital, suggest that their companies would have been profitable and they would have kept their jobs if Bain had simply left them alone.

Following remarks at a homeownership rally on the steps of the state capitol this afternoon, I asked Gingrich if he thinks Romney could have done anything to keep those jobs from being lost. "Well, you don't know. Do you?" Gingrich replied, as he made his way through a pack of reporters and TV cameras to his bus.
