If We Can't Make the Ryan-Obama Debates Happen...

Maybe we'll have to settle for watching the Ryan-Feingold debates in 2012:
The Republican nomination is Paul Ryan's for the taking, as is the Democratic nomination for Russ Feingold. Corporatist "New Democrat" Ron Kind wouldn't stand a chance in a Democratic primary, it seems to me.
While Feingold lost his seat in the 2010 Republican wave, he's not really damaged goods. He only lost by 5 points, 47 percent to 52 percent. The recent state supreme court election shows that Wisconsin remains as much a battleground state as ever. And Obama could help bring out the youth vote that didn't really show up for Feingold in 2010. The 18-to-29-year-old demographic dropped from 22 percent of the electorate in 2008 to just 15 percent of the electorate in 2010.
