The office of the vice president announced last night that Joe Biden's son, Beau Biden, is in Houston being evaluated after "an episode of disorientation and weakness."

"This morning, the Vice President accompanied his son Beau Biden to Houston, Texas, where Beau is being evaluated to determine the cause of an episode of disorientation and weakness that he experienced while on vacation with his family last week," reads a statement from the vice president's office.

"Further information about the Vice President’s schedule will be forthcoming."

Beau Biden is the attorney general of Delaware.

Just two days ago Beau Biden tweeted this picture of him with his father:

Although Biden's condition isn't known, he's had health problems before in the past. In 2010, the attorney general of Delaware suffered a "mild stroke" at the age of 41.
