We're about halfway through the TWS cruise--and so far, so good. Some great sightseeing in Rome, Tuscany, Monte Carlo and Barcelona; some great panels starring my colleagues and our special guests Elliott Abrams and Anne-Elisabeth Moutet; interesting and lively informal conversations on the ship; and a couple of TWS cruisers are ahead at the craps table in the ship's casino (or at least they say they are!).
Today is our first slightly overcast day (though still fine), and we're at port in Palma de Mallorca, which some of us are about to go take a look at. Tomorrow we're at sea with panels and cocktails galore--then a final burst of sightseeing in Carthage Friday, Sicily Saturday, and Pompeii Sunday.
It's tough work, but someone's got to do it.
