Salon, the online magazine, is looking for a passionate reporter to cover Washington politics. Sounds interesting! Based on this listing from JournalismJobs.com, however, I am urging interested parties to refrain from showing up for the interview carrying a copy of Atlas Shrugged:

Salon is seeking a passionate Washington blogger/reporter to cover the politics of the Great Recession in Washington, identifying the politicians and the monied groups who have abandoned the American idea in favor of narrow self-interest. You're sympathetic to the majority who have been victimized by the breakdown of responsibility and who are fightiing back. You know something about economic policymaking, green jobs, money in politics, and Salon. You have Capitol Hill/expert/industry sources, can sketch a personality, and turn a phrase.
