Elizabeth Warren has a two-point lead over incumbent senator Scott Brown, according to a new poll from MassPlus Quarterly. Forty percent of respondents support Warren, the Democrat, while 38 percent support the Republican Brown, the Boston Globe reports. ![]() The survey of 500 included "residents aged 18 or older," not registered or likely voters. Polls that sample adults tend to oversample Democrats, so perhaps the race between Warren and Brown is even closer than these numbers suggest. The RealClearPolitics average shows the two candidates are effectively tied. The Weekly Standard ArchivesBrowse 15 Years of the Weekly Standard
