CNN reports:

Florida Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll has resigned her post, according to a letter she sent to the state's governor Tuesday. 

Those interested in knowing why will have wait for an answer since, in her letter to Florida's governor, Rick Scott, Ms. Carroll “did not mention a reason for the resignation.”
