As always, RealClearPolitics has your daily polling fix. ![]() Pat Toomey In Pennsylvania, Republican Pat Toomey has jumped out to an 8-point lead--48% to 40%--over Democrat Joe Sestak in the Morning Call/Muhlenberg tracking poll, the same poll that showed Toomey down 3 points a week ago. (RCP polling average: Toomey +3.3%.) In Kentucky, PPP shows Republican Rand Paul leading Democrat Jack Conway by 13 points--53% to 40%--while Fox News has Paul up 7 points, 50% to 43%. (RCP average: Paul +7.0%.) In West Virginia, a Fox News poll shows Republican businessman John Raese leading Democratic governor Joe Manchin by 2 points, 48% to 46%; the Fox News poll of the West Virginia Senate race last week showed Manchin up 3, 48% to 45%. (RCP average: Manchin +3.5%.). As noted yesterday, PPP, a Democratic firm showed Manchin with a 6 point lead, but the pollster is using a more heavily Democratic turnout model.
