N.H. Poll: Romney 41, Paul 15, Gingrich 11, Huntsman 9

Suffolk reports on its latest poll of likely voters in New Hampshire's first in the nation primary:

Mitt Romney has opened up a commanding lead in New Hampshire, while Ron Paul is fending off Newt Gingrich and Jon Huntsman for second place according to a Suffolk University/7NEWS two-day tracking poll of likely voters in New Hampshire’s GOP presidential primary. The poll showed Romney leading with 41 percent of the vote, followed by Paul (15 percent), Gingrich (11 percent) and Huntsman (9 percent), while another 8 percent was split among GOP hopefuls Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Rick Perry.

There are a number of votes still up for grabs. "Sixteen percent remain undecided," the press release accompanying the poll notes. The director of Suffolk University’s Political Research Center, David Paleologos, says that "it is unlikely that Romney will lose New Hampshire, despite what Iowa voters may do."

The New Hampshire will be held on January 10, one week after Tuesday's Iowa caucus.
