Obama Avoids 'Campaigning All the Time' by Having Geithner Do It

Barack Obama, July 29: "The one thing that does frustrate me sometimes is the sense that we shouldn't be campaigning all the time. There is a time to campaign and then there is a time to govern. What we've tried to do over the last 20 months is to govern."
August 4: "Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner will try out a more political line of attack on Wednesday, whacking Republicans over their economic record. Geithner will go after the GOP in a speech on Wednesday afternoon, joining with President Obama and congressional Democrats in underscoring the differences between their approach and Republicans' approach to the economy."
