Obama to Deliver Statement After VA Chief Meeting

The White House just announced that President Obama will deliver a statement directly after meeting with Veterans Affairs chief Eric Shinseki later this morning. Here's the president's schedule, from the White House:


10:45AM        THE PRESIDENT delivers a statement

In the morning, the President will meet with Secretary of Veterans Affairs Shinseki and Rob Nabors in the Oval Office to receive an update on the situation at the Department of Veterans Affairs. This meeting will be closed press.

10:00AM        THE PRESIDENT meets with Secretary Shinseki and Rob Nabors

The boss predicted earlier today that Shinseki would resign.
