Obama Skips Town for Hawaii

After delivering remarks on the "fiscal cliff" negotiations, the White House notified the press that President Barack Obama is skipping town for Christmas. The first family leaves tonight for Hawaii.

The White House provides this updated schedule:

7:15PM           THE FIRST FAMILY departs the White House en route Andrews Air Force Base

                        South Lawn

                        Open Press (Final Gather 6:50PM – North Doors of the Palm Room)

 

7:30PM           THE FIRST FAMILY departs Andrews Air Force Base en route Honolulu, Hawaii

                        Out-of-Town Travel Pool Coverage (Call Time 6:00PM – Virginia Gate, Andrews Air Force Base) 

HST 

12:45AM        THE FIRST FAMILY arrives in Honolulu, Hawaii

                        Hickam Air Force Base, Honolulu, Hawaii
