Obama to Take Questions from Press (Update: 'Rigged Game')

President Obama will make a rare appearance in the White House press briefing room today where he'll do something even more unusual: take questions from the press.

The White House just announced this scheduling change:

In the morning, the President will take questions in the Brady Press Briefing Room. The President’s remarks are open press.

Briefing Schedule

Press Secretary Jay Carney will no longer hold a press briefing today.

Obama met the press for dinner over the weekend at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
