Barack Obama responded to Paul Ryan's budget proposal yesterday, and the GOP congressman and chairman of the House Budget Committee will give his rebuttal today. The event is hosted by the think tank e21, and Fred Barnes will be the moderator. Here are the details:

Join us as e21 presents Ryan Answers Obama on April 14th. Fred Barnes will direct the discussion with one of Capitol Hill’s fiscal leaders, Rep. Paul Ryan, Chairman of the House Budget Committee, before he heads to the House floor to debate the budget.

The conversation will focus on Rep. Ryan’s recent budget proposal, President Obama’s response to it (in the form of a major address on Wednesday afternoon) and last week’s budget showdown. Rep. Ryan and Mr. Barnes will also discuss the on-going battle over spending and the debt limit, and the future of economic issues in this country.

Following the conversation, Rep. Ryan will take questions from the audience.
