Perry Ad on Romneycare: Change You Can Believe In? (Updated)

Rick Perry has a new, high-quality web ad that renews the charge that Mitt Romney has flip-flopped on health care reform. Watch below:

Will Perry make this argument, and make it effectively, at tomorrow night's debate in New Hampshire? The Texas governor remains tied for second in the latest average of Republican primary polls. And although Romney remains dominant in New Hampshire, there seems still to be an opening for an "anti-Romney" candidate there.

Update: The Romney campaign responds that the Perry video takes a quote of Romney's out of context. Here's the transcript of Romney's appearance on Meet the Press in 2007:

RUSSERT: “Why, if it's good for Massachusetts and it's working in Massachusetts, wouldn't you apply it to the rest of the country?”

ROMNEY: “I would.”

RUSSERT: “A mandate?”

ROMNEY: “No. Let me tell you what I would do, just exactly as I described. I like what we did in Massachusetts. I think it's a great plan. But I'm a federalist. I don't believe in applying what works in one state to all states if different states have different circumstances.”
