Poll: Romney, Cain Statistically Tied with Obama

The latest Rasmussen poll of likely voters shows Mitt Romney trailing President Obama by 2 percentage points (43 to 41 percent). Only Romney and Herman Cain — who’s trailing Obama by 3 percentage points (42 to 39 percent) — are within the statistical margin of error (+/- 3 points) of Obama.

Rick Perry now trails Obama by 14 points (49 to 35 percent).  Rick Santorum fares slightly better, trailing Obama by 11 points (45 to 34 percent).  Rasmussen hasn’t released polling on Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann, Ron Paul, or Jon Huntsman, since last month.
