Public Policy Polling reports:

It's looking more and more likely that Wisconsin will be in the top tier of competitive Senate races this fall. Russ Feingold leads challenger Ron Johnson by only two points, 45-43. Johnson is polling closer to Feingold than Tommy Thompson was as he contemplated a potential campaign.

Politico reported a couple weeks ago that "Feingold dismissed a late May Rasmussen Reports survey that showed Johnson within two points of him as a 'Republican poll.'" Maybe now that PPP, a Democratic firm, is showing the same numbers he's starting to sweat?

Remember what happened to the last Democratic Senate candidate who disbelieved an unfavorable Rasmussen poll? "Coakley dismissed the Rasmussen numbers when asked about the poll Tuesday night."
