The president's speech tonight in front of a joint session of Congress is not a campaign speech. It just isn't. Obama will merely present a plan for economic recovery in front of members of both chambers of Congress, because that's what the president of the United States does when the economy hasn't recovered despite his own economic initiatives that have been implemented over the last two and a half years, or something like that.

But ... Obama's reelection campaign does want you to tune in! His campaign sends along this text message:

62262: President Obama will present the American Jobs Act tonight at 7pm ET. Remind everybody to watch; forward this message.
