The latest national survey from Rasmussen shows Rick Santorum with a 12-point lead over Mitt Romney among Republican primary voters. Thirty-nine percent of those polled support Santorum while 27 percent support Romney. Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul earned 15 percent and 10 percent, respectively. ![]() Rick Santorum The 12-point advantage is among the largest for Santorum in a national poll, and before this latest from Rasmussen, Santorum was just 2 points ahead of Romney in the RealClearPolitics poll average. Coming a week after his three-state sweep in Missouri, Minnesota, and Colorado, the bump for Santorum also seems to be resonating in polls of voters in upcoming primary states like Michigan and Ohio.
