Republican congressman Diane Black released this statement after Barack Obama's Obamacare speech today, blasting the president for pushing Americans toward Obamacare:

“Just yesterday we saw multiple reports of dramatic increases in insurance premiums resulting from the President’s health care law, layoffs at local hospitals, and delays in the operational capabilities of Obamacare exchanges. This all comes right in the middle of a fight between Republicans and Democrats as to whether to stop this unpopular law from taking effect in five short days. It is completely irresponsible for the President to continue to try and push Americans to sign up for this train wreck when there are so many problems resulting from the law, and when there remain so many unaddressed privacy and security concerns about its implementation. Anyone reading the news knows that this law is not workable, and time is running short for the President to work with Congress to help shield the American people from this impending disaster.”
