At Harry's Bar, 5 rue Daunou, 2eme, Paris—in the deepest of deep blue precincts!—Mitt Romney is doing surprisingly well in the early vote, trailing Barack Obama by only about 10 percentage points. Sophisticated statistical analyses of early voting trends suggest this may well mean diminished Obama enthousiasme among his base, and a multivariate regression study indicates that this prefigures a substantial enough hidden Romney vote (une majorité silencieuese!) to put the Republican nominee over the top on le jour des élections.
