In response to Charlotte Hays's piece on the blog yesterday ("Royal Marriage: Ordinary People?"), a reader sends this letter to the editor:

What’s with the pro-royal marriage nonsense on your blog? I have no idea what she is talking about, but I am pro-Seinfeld and we should all obviously be opposed to obscene coverage of British royal marriages.

Monarchy is creepy. The only upside is that it can always be used against British people when they act holier-than-thou.
