Rubio & Crist to Debate (Correction)

How about that? During all those months when Charlie Crist had a double-digit lead over Marco Rubio, he blew off all of Rubio's requests for debate. Now that Crist is trailing Rubio by double digits, the governor has agreed to debate Rubio on Meet the Press on March 7 and Fox News Sunday on March 28.

Update: Rubio just issued a statement that appears to accept to debate Crist on Meet the Press or other shows only after the Fox News Sunday debate March 28, since Fox was the first network to reach out:

“FOX Network has shown serious interest in this primary campaign since day one and was the first national news organization to extend an invitation for a debate. Marco Rubio gladly accepted immediately and will be happy to debate Charlie Crist on Meet the Press or anywhere else after he has kept his commitment to have the first debate on FOX on March 28.  No national news organization has shown greater interest in covering this race than FOX.  It’s unfortunate that Charlie Crist doesn’t understand this."
