The Hotline's Steven Shepard reports that a new Mason-Dixon poll shows congressman Kendrick Meek leading partyboy billionaire Jeff Greene 40 percent to 26 percent in the Democratic Florida Senate primary.

The new Mason-Dixon poll gives ex-state House Speaker Marco Rubio (R) a 38%-33% lead over Crist, with Meek at 18%.

If Greene is the nominee, Crist would maintain a narrow advantage over Rubio, 39%-38%, with Greene at 12%.

The difference in matchups for Crist is the support of Dems. If Greene is the nominee, Crist gets 61% of the Dem vote. With Meek in the general, 45% of Dems backed Crist, while Meek draws 36%.

More details at the link. While other recent polls have shown Crist ahead in the three-way race, Rasmussen showed Rubio leading Crist 38 percent to 33 percent earlier this week.
