The Burlington Free Press reports:

Police and emergency crews are respond to an apparent shooting at City Hall Park where an Occupy Burlington encampment has been since Oct. 28.

A man was removed from a green tent where blood was evident. There is no information on whether the person is alive or dead. About a half dozen police cars were at the scene at about 2:20 p.m.

These Occupy mobs are getting dangerous. A local news outlet reported yesterday that a Molotov cocktail thrower had been picked up at Occupy Portland. An elderly lady got attacked at Occupy D.C. last weekend when the unruly mobbed threatened conservative conference goers. And the list goes on.

Who knows? Maybe the shooter in Burlington is really a Tea Party member who mistakenly attended Occupy Wall Street thinking it was a meeting of fellow conservatives--we don't know that this isn't the case. Or, of course, it could just be that these Occupy protests are getting out of hand.
