Roberta Rampton of Reuters reports:

Senior White House officials met with a group of Hollywood stars and entertainers on Monday to talk about how to use pop culture to persuade young Americans to sign up for new medical insurance coverage this fall.

Well, Hollywood has influenced a lot of young Americans to believe, and do, a lot of dumb things and to act against their own self-interest in a lot of ways.  So there is plenty of precedent and, who knows, it might just work.

Nothing else has.
