At the convention, the quest for something to write about never ends and often yields stories that are as watery as prison soup. Politico, for instance, illuminates the proceedings with this:

In Tampa to lead the pushback for President Barack Obama’s campaign, top adviser Robert Gibbs said Tuesday that the first night of the Republican National Convention was “angry” and “strange” and “full of insults.”

Maybe so. One who was not there has no way of knowing. Gibbs and Politico offer no examples or quotes or any of that boring stuff. Just this assertion:
